Hello again!
As I said before, my name is Daria Solomennikova and I am a graphic designer. Being honest, I can say that I have never dreamt of a career in graphic design. I was born in the Soviet Union and for the early years of my life I wanted to be an icecream seller or a librarian, or a firefighter.
During my high school I changed my mind many times. I thought I would be a geneticist, phychologist, and a journalist. Then, after two years of the jounalists' school, and volunteering at "teenager to teenager" help line, I decided to become a politician. I wanted to be a first female president of the Russian Federation. So, in 1999 I was accepted to the Siberian Academy of Civil Service studying the Program of Public Relations.
In January 2001 I took two courses of digital design in the Academy of Architecture and Art, just for my own sake, and I fell in love with it. Later I got my first job in Sibinform (Advertising and Publishing agency) and have never regretted that.
In 2006 I decided to continue my education in Graphic Design and moved to Canada. Here I graduated from Seneca College and currently I am looking for an employment. If you are looking for a graphic designer, you may want to see my resume, so you can learn more about my skills, experience and education.
